Halley Smith is a character in Wrong Turn. She is played by Yvonne Gaudry.

Biography

Halley and her boyfriend Richard Stoker were college students. They drove into the West Virginia forest and went rock climbing.

Death

After witnessing Richard's death, the cannibals begin pulling her up by her rope. She gets out a pocket knife and cuts the rope. Halley hangs on to the cliff for life and tries to grab another rope, but soon falls off and lands by Richard's body. She hears the cannibals coming down the side of the cliff and starts running to Richard and her car. She is almost to her car, but she accidentally gets caught in barbed wire. Halley dies off-screen as she is pulled back by the cannibals.

She was the second person to die.
